This may seem like an obvious one but you'll be surprised how many don't do it. I usually also leave a copy with my family back home.
If you have an itinerary or at least part of it, give a summary to your loved ones with the hotel phone numbers so they know how to reach you if they need to.
While we're on the topic of travel plans, take a screenshot of your flights, bus, train or bookings. Having these on your phone or laptop is so much more convenient than carrying a bunch of papers and printouts. I can't tell you how many times airport wifi has disappointed me.. and I wasn't able to access my confirmation emails, etc.
These days, Free Wifi is such a security risk that I don't use it anymore. I'd sooner buy a local sim card to get whatever I need to do, done! :)

I like the way this wallet is organized, it opens up flat and you can exactly what you need for easy retrieval.
I also like how I can put my iphone 6 pro inside and still be able to snap the purse shut.
The photo of the airline ticket being tucked away neatly isn't really true, see my photo. That being said, I didn't mind because I actually used a eticket on my phone. As you can see from my photo my passport fits neatly inside.
This wallet is nicely built and feels sturdy to hold. I used this wallet while traveling through Europe for a month and it help up great.
Cons;
I find the coin compartment not very useful for money change. Its too small and too flat to use for your coins, its difficult to retrieve your coins when at a register. I use mine to store my camera storage card and usb storage instead.

For the price I paid DAMN, this passport holder is very high quality was not expecting to get this kind of quality for the price! In person the color is great and the detail on the design of the U.S. emblem and lettering is superb even the elastic band feels strong and durable. Inside there is even extra room for 4 extra credit cards and a mid sized sleeve for larger items such as boarding passes or cash and of course, a larger sleeve to fit your U.S. passport. The stitching is respectable and even the leather smells genuine and the size is perfect as its not too bulky or oversized just large enough to fit the standard U.S. passport and slim enough to fit into a backpack or bag you can take with you anywhere. Best of all it has anti RFID lining on the inside sandwiched between the outside layer and inner layer of the holder; this is vital as modern U.S. passport books and cards now have RFID chips implanted into them so any savvy thief that knows what hes going can steal your personal identification and data that can cause you a lot of headaches and unwanted troubles thus, its important to keep your passport safe and this holder for the price cannot be beat!
