Improve REM Sleep with OST - Optimized Sleep Technology

Naturally Improve the quality of REM & Deep Stages of sleep wearing NeuroTech. Patches are Drug-Free, Non-Electrical, Non-Invasive - Safe For Everyone.

I was recently reading an article in DR.OZ - The Good Life Magazine and came across "Find Your Natural Bedtime" by America's Sleep Doctor Michael Breus Ph.D.  In the article, he said that "people aren't getting enough Z's" and discussed a study that looked at over 20,000 people for a total of more than one million nights sleep.  The study found that women get an average of six hours and nine minutes of shut-eye each night and that 21% are actually getting less than five hours.  His conclusion; one of the reasons for our sleep deprivation is that we are just not going to bed at the best time for our bodies.  Surprise!

We all have good intentions to get to bed at a decent time. We WANT to sleep through the night, and to wake up refreshed and rejuvenated BUT how often does that really happen?

The truth is that I can list 3 things to do right now that health experts have been preaching about for years and IF I actually took their advice I have no doubt that it would defiantly help my brain shut down and get ready for the "sleep zone' sooner.  What are they?

  1. Turn Off The Technology At Least One Hour Before Bedtime. Yup, I know that the television, Phone, iPad, and eReader are a stimulant that can cause us to stay up way past the time I should have gone to bed. I'm guilty of wanting to see what happens next in the TV show I am binge-watching or starting the next chapter instead of putting my book down.
  2. Don't Drink Before Bedtime:  Yup,  I know that Tea, Coffee, Alcohol, or any other drink that contains things like sugar or caffeine act as a stimulant to the body as it tries to metabolize the contents which play with the mind instead of letting it rest.
  3. Avoid Aggravation or Excitement.  Picking a fight, heated discussions on the phone, reading work emails, or playing competitive games tend to get the juices flowing so instead of winding down, the opposite occurs, and yet I still can't help myself from grabbing my phone when I hear that "ding".

Makes sense right? Everyone's got an internal clock and it knows what it needs to do BUT we often get so wrapped up in the craziness of the world that we tend to do the exact opposite ignoring what our body needs instead of actually giving it what it wants!

So what now?  We know that we WANT to sleep better BUT we have also accepted that we are offenders and that we are probably going to continue to struggle with giving our body what it needs because we suffer from PHOMO, (a fear of missing out/ unplugging from our phones) or the world for that matter.

My theory;  start small and work towards more!  Doing something to help is a step in the right direction and little changes can often lead to bigger steps down the road.

Instead of worrying about the quantity of sleep, turn your attention and focus on the quality of it.  Impaired REM sleep often leads to waking up tired and unable to concentrate and that can have adverse implications for our physical and emotional health.  A lack of REM sleep has been linked to reduced coping skills, migraines headaches, and even excess weight gain.

The question is...Is there a way to improve REM sleep?  The answer is Yes!  In 2020, Voxxlife, a Canadian Biotechnology company devoted to helping people reach their wellness goals with wearable solutions released a new Wearable Neurotech called OST, Optimized Sleep Technology and it's actually changing the way we sleep for the better.

"The patch uses a unique tactile pattern to trigger a neuro response. ”It looks like a band-aid, you simply peel and stick it on your arm. It’s totally drug-free, non-invasive, and non-addictive, it helps relax the brain. You can sleep easier, longer, and better.”

The REM Patch’s effectiveness lasts for 24 hours once it has been peeled and applied and is meant to be worn to aid in sleep in a drug-free cost-effective way.  It uses a variation of the Human Performance Technology pattern (HPT) that’s integrated into other Voxx products that have been scientifically proven to improve balance, strength, and range of motion, and more.

REM Patch Benefits include:

  • Sleep Stages Optimized
  • Balances your REM and deep sleep stages
  • Enhanced rest assists in the rejuvenation of the mind and body.

So, while you might not be able to get the six hours of shut-eye, optimizing the quality of sleep may be the best way to start small and help that internal clock get a little more of what it needs most... attention!
