When a person is under a lot of stress, they can’t think clearly. Their mind is under siege by turbulent thoughts and emotions. It is being strung out by every worry and insecurity.
It is impossible to reach the level of intelligence you are capable of when you’re in this state of mind. Once it is at breaking point, your brain can’t accomplish the simplest of tasks, let alone learn new things and grow. However, meditation can melt these worries away. Life with still be filled with problems, but meditating will put these problems into perspective.
They will not seem as awful as they did the day before. They will now be manageable and wholly surmountable. A calm and peaceful mind is ready to learn new things. It is a mind that can think better and more clearly.
