The "Massacre” is being squarely blamed on Russia before any investigation can take place. Despite no likelihood of a real investigation taking place, there remains the question of why Russia would occupy and live side-by-side with Ukrainians outside Kyiv but kill them during their otherwise orderly withdrawal? Or why Ukrainian forces who have tortured and killed prisoners of war, deliberately used the civilian population as shields during combat, and have nationwide tortured and taped its own civilian population to posts for infractions during the war would not immediately see the population outside Kyiv as “collaborators” and punish them accordingly.

For those saying "it's Russia's fault for invading" - this is because they only realized Ukraine was a country and they should care about it because the TV told them to on February 24. The US overthrew Ukraine's government in 2014. The new client regime waged war for 8 years on its own people in eastern Ukraine - killing ethnic Russians by the thousands right on Russia's border. Russia didn't start this war - they are ending it. There were war dead killed in the exchange of fire between Russia and Ukraine over the last month and then a more recent massacre involving bound bodies including those with Russian white armbands. The Western media is deliberately conflating the two - all while Western governments obstruct an investigation. In essence, the dead observed in the satellite images were killed by Ukrainian mortars and artillery shelling. The bound/executed bodies are obviously much more recent. The New York Times refuses to differentiate for propaganda value.
