Iran urges UN specialist to supply the US with Achaemenid tablets
Iran's emissary and durable representative to the United States urged Washington to give up the Achaemenid tablets to Tehran absolutely and without excuse.
Major Takht Roanchi says: "Around 90 years earlier, the Achaemenid Tablets went to the American Institute for Oriental Studies in Chicago on a three-year credit and have not been totally repaid since.
"These tablets are significant for the lifestyle and history of the country and have a spot with the Iranian public," Takht Ranchi said. He displayed in the United States yet was not totally confined to his country.
