How you can use a free prescription card to build your business

Posted by Bill Bateman on July 07, 2019 - 1:34pm Edited 4/13 at 6:41pm

Michael Conway and I first talked about 5 years ago. He has an insurance background, ran a General Agency for years, as I do, so we had instant rapport.

Michael gravitated from the insurance business to the durable medical equipment business providing therapeutic wraps for people with pain and/or circulatory issues.

Searching for new ways to provide leads for his salespeople, Michael helped start one of the early prescription discount programs.

That program is InCareRX. I’ve used it myself a dozen times. The card is free and the discounts can be significant. I’ve written about it before on several platforms so you may have seen my review elsewhere. Personally I've saved as much as 40 percent on a prescription.

The Affiliate program is also free. When you give someone a free card, either the printed or electronic version. Walmart, Walgreens, Kroger, Albertsons, and many others accept the card.

When someone uses the card you gave them, you get paid. There is also a 2 tier affiliate program that pays you a small amount for 2 levels.

I know a number of RXPrime representatives who are making 4 and even 5 figures a month from passing out the cards. Most of these folks are developing “routes” of medical facilities and doctor’s offices and servicing those routes.

We have weeking teleconference calls explaining how they do that.

Personally, I use the card to recruit insurance agents. Recruiting agents/brokers has been my vocation for 30+ years for dozens of insurance companies.

Established Insurance Agents and Brokers are a very receptive audience because they get 3 things…

  1. Good will from their client
  2. A tool to solicit referrals
  3. Some compensation when the client uses the card

New Insurance agents/brokers need leads. We can teach the professional insurance agent how to become lead independent using our card.

There is no cost to sign up or even to get started, just click here and the “become an agent” button and we’ll send you information not just on all the opportunities medical related we have. No special licensing is required. BUT…

This is only in the USA.

If you are not interested in participating as an agent, you are welcome to refer/forward to someone who may have interest if this is not for you because chances are you know someone who has to pay for a prescription.

If you are in any related niche business I encourage you to join us (totally for free) with RXPrime. People need the service and it’s a great way to build your network.

PS - IF you have any interest in reaching Insurance Agents after you sign up, give me a call and I’ll help you with lists and contacts. I have more agents to contact than I have time

Bill Bateman Hey Kevin, If you have time for a short phone call sometime 505-450-1574 is my cell phone - I'd be happy to give you a number of suggestions. Do download a copy of the card on your smart phone for personal savings.

Kevin Jacobson I will check into this for myself. I'm not in the insurance business. Maybe I could think of a creative way to work this into some of my other businesses. Thank you for sharing.
