STOP being so hard on yourself! Far too many of us, are our own worst enemy and critic
Believe me, I relate to this and I understand! I hold such insanely high standards for myself, that often I find myself being very harsh and even cruel to myself. Always feeling like I’m coming up short.
So many of us look at our lives and think, “This must just be who I am.”
Remember this - your current situation in life, what you HAVE accomplished, what you HAVEN'T accomplished, IS NOT WHO YOU ARE.
Who you are is infinitely greater than all of those things combined.
YOU ARE ENOUGH
Take a moment to reflect on all of the things you are GREAT at. Think about all of the things that are GOOD about you:
Your Integrity
Your Character
Your Intentions
And just for today, give yourself a damn break. Stop being so hard on yourself. Realize that WHERE YOU ARE GOING, IS WHO YOU ARE; not where you've been.
No matter your situation, you will never be able to become the BEST VERSION OF YOURSELF if you continue to believe that you are defined by your past and/or your present.
You will ultimately be defined by the TOTALITY of your life, what you've achieved, whom you've helped. YOU ARE A WORK IN PROGRESS.
ONCE AGAIN, You are NOT what you've done, you are exactly who God made you to be. Today, I'm challenging you to focus on all of the GREAT things about yourself, your accomplishments and the people you've helped.
If you're not in your own corner, no one else is going to be! Stand up for yourself. Believe in yourself. Love Yourself... or no one else will.
Always remember, GOD is in the corner with you and will always love you, always believe in you and always has your back
Feed yourself a whole lot of self-love today! Just try it! It feels so good! nothing great can be accomplished from a negative state
You cannot transfer to somebody that which you are not experiencing yourself! You aren’t really transferring and giving love to other people if you don’t love yourself… Not in the most authentic and powerful way! EM
