Dealing with Adversity

Posted by Bobby Brown on August 23, 2023 - 8:42pm

One thing you can count on if you want to be successful in any field: sports, the arts, business or anything else. You will face some challenges and adversity. Some may be threatened by your success, Don’t be deterred by this.

In fact, know this: If you really are doing something worthy, you're going to piss some people off. And if you're not pissing some people off, you're probably mired in mediocrity.

Know the difference between the people who care about you and want the best for you - and those that have petty jealousy, small minded individuals that would tear you down, set you up or stab you in the back just to prove their own self worth. These toxic people deserve no place in your life... just keep moving forward and good things will happen.

One more thing to know: Successful people are like kites. A headwind takes them higher.
