So are you wealthy?  Not just good health, nice relationships, and that kind of stuff, but do you have an abundance of money too?

Enough to meet your needs, any unexpected needs, and some left over for whimsy and fun?  Is your complete financial security assured?  I hope so.

However if you’re not wealthy, why do you think that is?

If you think it’s because your company laid you off, you have a cheap boss, the stock market crashed, real estate values went down or any other external factors – that’s the wrong answer.

In fact, I believe the only correct answer is, “Because I chose to be poor.”

Think I’m crazy?  Insensitive?  Not aware of the special circumstances that victimized you?  Go ahead and call me out below.  But I’m not buying it.

Because I believe poverty, like wealth, is a choice
