Eating vegetables may reduce stress. We all know that eating vegetables can help us lose weight, prevent various diseases, improve digestion, and give our skin a healthy boost, but now it looks like there’s another perk: stress relief. Studies have shown that eating three to four servings a day can lower anxiety levels by 14 percent, and eating five to seven servings of veggies and fruit combined, can lower stress by 23 percent.
