Energy Drinks Breaking Your Budget? There is a Better Way

Posted by Bobby Brown on June 24, 2024 - 4:57pm

Energetic, refreshed, and mentally on point. It is how we all want to feel and a major market that is expected to grow to 108 billion dollars a year by 2028 has been created around it.

Life has become fast-paced and full of to-do lists. Let’s face facts – It can be a challenge to keep up.

Energy drinks have gained popularity because there is a need for them. Some have ingredients that are healthy and support the body while others simply give a quick fix, then crash, and can even be detrimental or even downright dangerous.

Overindulgence in energy drinks has led to deaths.

The recommended maximum serving of caffeine for one day for the average adult is set at 400 milligrams. While energy drink companies do respect that, the problem is that when you drink these daily, your body becomes used to them. In turn, some people will discount the maximum suggested and drink excessively. This can lead to heart-related issues.

Breaking the Budget

Another issue with energy drinks regularly is the expense. They can sell for anywhere from $1.90 a piece on the low end if you find a sale to $5.00 a can. Daily that would be from $57 to $150 a month just on energy drinks. In today’s economy, that isn’t a bargain.
