Explore the area’s nutrient-dense waters, keeping a lookout for humpback whales, sea lions, seals, eagles and bears. 

On this adventure you will… 

• Take a short walk from the ship to the Kayak Center, where you’ll receive a safety briefing and be outfitted with rain gear, rubber boots and a life jacket. 
• Board your motorized 4-person Zodiac inflatable boat and follow your guide in the lead boat, departing directly from Icy Strait Point into the wilderness to explore the beautiful coastlines of Port Frederick and Icy Strait. Depending on weather and recent wildlife sightings, your guide will choose to lead you on a route that is best suited for the day’s conditions. Throughout your journey, your knowledgeable guide will make stops along the way to discuss the area’s history and culture as you look for wildlife such as humpback whales, sea lions, seals, eagles and bears. 
• Following your maritime adventure, return to the dock and warm up with a hot beverage before returning to your ship.
