Failure is a mindset based on how we perceive certain experiences.
We aren't always going to accomplish all of our goals or be successful in every venture, but just because we didn't accomplish these things, doesn't mean we failed.
Every single experience we have both good and bad is nothing more than a lesson to be learned.
Experience is the best teacher and the only way we can ever actually know something.
So both success and what we might deem as failure are merely just different experiences with different lessons to be learned.
In fact, failure is probably even a better teacher than success because when you succeed you tend to just repeat the same process, because "if it ain't broke, don't fix it".
But when we fail at something we set out to do, we then have a chance to review, assess, and discover why we failed, and then take that knowledge and apply what we've learned to foster our growth.
A person who fails time and again yet keeps tweaking their strategy and trying again is more knowledgable than the one who succeeded first try and just doubled down.
The one who failed has become adaptable and capable of changing and growing, whereas the successful person could be stuck in their ways and assume they always know the answer.
Failure humbles us and gives us the opportunity to learn and grow as we realize we didn't know nearly as much as we thought we did.
The only way we ever truly fail is when we learn nothing from the experience and continue to make the same mistakes over and over again, or if we allow failure to define us and make us so afraid of another failure we stop pursuing our goals.
Failure is nothing to be afraid of because we have all fallen short of our goals before, but some of us use this as motivation for our growth, while others use it as an excuse to stay stagnant or shrink.
Failure inherently is neither a good nor bad experience, its what we do with it and how we respond to this experience that dictates it being good or bad.
By understanding that everything in life is merely an experience that's neither good nor bad we give ourselves power over these experiences because we are the ones deciding how we wish to perceive them.
SO DO NOT FEAR FAILURE FOR IT IS ONE OF THE BEST TEACHERS WE HAVE!!!
