Ready for some big words but pretty cool science?!!
A major topic in the field of obesity research is the link between obesity and the hormone leptin.

Leptin interacts with areas of the brain that control hunger and eating behavior. The nickname “the starvation hormone” has been given to leptin because levels tend to plummet when someone restricts their calorie intake too much, exercises more and loses body fat.

Leptin is proposed to act as an afferent signal in the negative feedback loop to the hypothalamus that limiting food intake, controlling energy homeostasis and regulating the mass of adipose tissue. The deficiency of or resistance to leptin causes severe obesity. If someone doesn't understand they may assume a negative feedback loop is a bad thing, which it isn't, it is the process of weight loss.

LeptiTrim has leptin in it, a naturally occurring part of what makes colostrum so great and it isn't "added" in, it is already there. There are no negatives to a naturally occurring protein like leptin because all the cofactors are in place to help balance the body. That comes from the Colostrum6 in the product.
