Getting Rejected

The Secret to Never Getting Rejected.

It's an occupational hazard of network marketing and indeed ANY business- not everybody is going to love you.  Moreover, it seems perfectly logical that as we offer a breakthrough technology to the world, not every one is going to immediately adopt it.  That's actually how you know you're a pioneer...  you're running ahead of the pack.

So why does it bothers us so much, when somebody says 'no'?  Perhaps it's not the 'no' itself that causes us discomfort, what really hurt are the 'stories' that we tell ourselves behind each 'no':

- They think I'm stupid
- They don't like me
- They are not rejecting the product, they are rejecting ME

In reality the reason a person might say 'no', probably has nothing to do with you!  They may be fearful, busy, broke, embarrassed, confused... they may be a 'yes' at a later date.

But if we know all of this intellectually, so why are we afraid of rejection?  Is there a way to never be rejected again?

The answer is yes- if you change your attitude to how you define and interpret rejection.

Are we really afraid of failure?  Probably not- because if we DO nothing, failure is guaranteed.  So it clearly... doesn't bother us enough.

The real reason most of us fear rejection is because we feel it will confirm our belief that we aren't really worthy of success.  That's why we manage to feel fine when we do nothing... because at least we never really know, if we might have been successful.  It's wild isn't it?!

Within this context, how do you let go of this attachment to what any one person might say?  Here's how: you guarantee yourself SUCCESS.  And you guarantee success by making a pact with yourself that you will never quit.

If you are committed to never quitting, then no single prospect you speak to, is the last prospect or your last chance.  What they say, what they do, has little to no impact on your overall goal.  The outcome of any one conversation, does not affect your dreams.  Someone saying no, is not a rejection of you (you're marching on anyways), it is merely a rejection of them.

They are excluding themselves- from better health, from having wealth, from having freedom.   They cant take that away from you!!

You never have to be rejected again, so long as you remember that nobody has the power to reject you, so long as YOU stay loyal to yourself.
