BEGIN EVERY MORNING WITH GRATITUDE!!!

By starting our mornings with gratitude, we start our day off on a positive note, setting ourselves up for the rest of the day.
Every morning the first thing I do is put a huge smile on my face and say at least 3 things I'm grateful for.
The simple act of smiling before I begin my gratitude practice causes my brain to releases dopamine, endorphins, and serotonin allowing me to truly feel the positive emotions of gratitude.
These 3 things can be anything from my family, to my dog, to my bed, to my health, to the cup of coffee I'm going tom make etc.
It really doesn't matter how big or small what we're grateful for is it's just the mere practice of being grateful that matters.
This simple practice has really helped to transform my days, especially my mornings, for the better, as I now look forward to starting my day, as opposed to dreading it.
Like most people, when I used to hear my alarm go off my initial reaction would be, "Fuck here we go again..." dreading the fact I have to get up and out of my comfy bed.
But this simple practice helps to shift our mindset right when we wake up from negative to positive.
I'm not saying this will make everyday perfect or that there won't still be challenges throughout the day because those things definitely still do happen.
But I will say for me at least, that the days have definitely gotten a lot better and the challenges have become much more manageable, and don't ruin my day as they used to.
In fact, I can now even look at some of these challenges as lessons and end up being grateful for them.
Yes, they often still frustrate me, especially while they're happening but looking back I can say that I'm genuinely grateful because that challenge helped make me stronger.
Practicing gratitude also helps to attract more things to be grateful for, because to attract abundance we must first be thankful for the blessings we already have.
Gratitude and abundance are states of being.
By being in these states of being in our inner environment we attract things in our outer environment to help enhance our state of being.
As within, so without.
