Health Care Sharing is optimal for homeschooling families

‘VACCINE MANDATES, MISEDUCATION, SPECIAL NEEDS AND OTHER FACTORS HAVE SWELLED THE RANKS OF FAMILIES THAT WANT MORE CHOICES,

More and more parents are seeing a need to make their own choices when it comes to crucial services for their children.

Homeschooling has doubled over the last two years as many parents got an online look at what many schools were serving up and did not like what they saw. Other parents have turned to homeschooling to better meet their children’s special needs.

“The proportion of American families homeschooling at least one child grew from 5.4% in spring 2020 to 11.1% in fall 2021, according to a U.S. Census Bureau analysis,” the Los Angeles Times reported. “The number of Black families choosing to home-school increased five-fold during that time, from 3.3% to 16.1%.”

“Just as parents are rethinking their children’s schooling, they can also be rethinking their approach to health care,” “Health Care Sharing is a really tangible method for homeschool families to save money and provide a health care solution for their children that is consistent with their faith and honors parental choice.

As pandemic-related mandates continue to disrupt normal school-year rhythms, many Christian parents are rethinking their approach.

“Vaccine mandates, miseducation, special needs and other factors have swelled the ranks of families that want more choices, “It’s only natural that thinking outside the box in schooling can lead to out-of-the-box innovation in other areas.”

Parents who recognize their God-given responsibility to educate their children—whether by homeschooling or by taking great care in choosing a school and curriculum—are naturally inclined to embrace Scripture’s call to stewardship and to sharing each other’s financial burdens, as Health Care Sharing members do with health care needs.

Homeschoolers represent thousands of Health Care Sharing  member households who  send monthly financial shares directly to other members, along with notes and cards of encouragement.
