Is Knowledge True Power

KNOWLEDGE IS NOT POWER UNLESS WE PUT THAT KNOWLEDGE INTO ACTION!!!

Knowledge only becomes power when we apply it but when we do it becomes one of the most powerful things out there.

All great pieces of art, music, philosophy, architecture, and every great invention or technology only came to life because someone either chose to apply their knowledge and take action on their ideas, or had an idea then acquired the necessary knowledge and then took action to bring that idea to life.

Either way knowledge and action are both vital ingredients to turning ideas into real tangible pieces of work.

These days we all have access to the internet and it's infinite amounts of knowledge whenever we please, so it's not a lack of knowledge that's keeping us stuck where we are, but a lack of applying that knowledge that's holding us back.

Knowledge without action is quite frankly pretty pointless.

We could know everything there is to know but if we do nothing with it does it really even matter?

I mean maybe it could make us look cool when we meet new people at a party or on a date with how knowledgeable we appear, but the real answer is NO it doesn't actually matter.

It doesn't matter just what we know or say it matters what we do because there's nothing worse than someone not practicing what they preach.

If I sat on here and talked about the importance of things such as meditation, positive affirmations, exercise, journaling, etc. yet didn't do it myself I would just be a hypocrite and that's the last thing I want to be.

Yes, it can definitely be a struggle to do these things some days but by being public about it on here it helps to hold me accountable and gives me that added motivation to get it done.

It doesn't matter how many books we read, podcasts we listen to, masterclasses and seminars we attend, if we don't apply what we learn and take action we'll continue to be the same person we were before any of those and forget what we learned and will have wasted our money in the process.

When we put into practice and teach others what we learned that's how we remember what we've learned giving us the ability to grow and evolve.

It could be argued that it's better to be ignorant as opposed to knowledgeable if ones not going to take action, because at least when someone's ignorant they actually don't know any better, but when someone has knowledge they don't use they actually do know better, yet are consciously choosing ignorance.

Most of us know we should do beneficial things like meditate, exercise, read, go out in nature, go to bed earlier etc. yet we typically don't do them or at least not consistently.

Why is this?

Jim Kwik explains we typically don't apply our knowledge or wish to learn new knowledge because either our mindset, motivation, or methods are out of alignment.

When one or multiple of these are lacking it makes our lives much more difficult than they need to be and keep us from reaching our true potential.

So how do we fix this?

To fix our mindset we must forget what we think we know, let go of our limiting beliefs about ourselves, and change the conversation that goes on within our heads from pessimistic to optimistic.

To improve our motivation we must be clear on our purpose, the why for what we wish to do, and give ourselves the necessary energy required to accomplish our dreams through proper nutrition, exercise, and sleep.

Lastly, we must adjust our methods by learning HOW TO LEARN and what strategies for learning are best for us.

We are all so much more capable and powerful than we think we are, and Jim's teaching and strategies are amazing for helping us tap into our brain's true potential.
