IS STRESS AND ANXIETY AFFECTING YOU?

IS STRESS AND ANXIETY AFFECTING YOU?

With our modern day lives, our anxiety and stress levels can be high, resulting in raised cortisol levels, which in turn causes unhealthy food cravings.

Please add these foods to your diet!
asparagus contain folate, which plays a role in mood boosting (I love them but not the stinky wee!)
avocado has more folate than any other fruit and plenty of B vitamins, essential for our mood
blueberries have one of the highest levels of antioxidants, including vitamin C, known to help combat stress
garlic to boost immune health as stress will weaken it
salmon rich in omega 3s, keeping cortisol from spiking during stressful times and great for brain health
sauerkraut and other fermented foods have a mood boosting effect. We know the connection between a balanced gut and balanced brain

Here is some foods to get you started and also include regular exercise to release that tension and endorphins.
