It's Not What You Look at That Matters

Posted by Bobby Brown on November 10, 2020 - 12:32pm

It's What You See.

Have you ever known someone who is really an amazing person, talented, beautiful, intelligent, but they don’t see it? No matter what you tell them, they don’t believe it about themselves so they go about their life believing they are not those things while everyone around them is baffled by the obvious. There is always someone out there who believes just that in you.

How you see yourself is one of the most important values you can develop for yourself. Your worth, your capabilities and your faith will take you everywhere you ever dreamed of going. When you learn to see yourself as nothing less that the great soul you were born to be - you learn to recognize the greatness in all other beings as well.

Seeing all living things and recognizing and honoring the divine presence that exists at the center is a form of reverence. Our judgments are the primary thing that separate us from the awareness of our oneness with all of life. The practice of reverence is how we push past all that we think separates us, the egoic-self that thrives on by labeling everything and everyone as good or bad, desirable or undesirable, right or wrong. Learn to see all things, including yourself, through the eyes of the soul.
