"Mid-morning we were perched on a small overlook above a mist covered river in Bardia park. Without a sound, a large female Bengal tiger waded from the grasses into the river. My naturalist guide, Krishna, turned to me, and his eyes were just as big as mine must have been! His huge smile was evidence that seeing such an amazing animal in the wild never gets old. What a great moment!"
