Construction began on this imposing structure in 1882. After 144 years, the complex is set to be completed in 2026. Designed by Antoni Gaudí, La Sagrada Familia is one of approximately 20 impressive works in Barcelona by this famed architect. La Sagrada Familia is considered to be his most monumental. The Basilica has extended hours most days, but you'll want to book tickets ahead of time and plan accordingly since lines to enter can be very long, especially during the summer.
