Fresh from a $165 million amplification, the ten-year-old Oasis of the Seas is like a brand new ship again, with many new features that will wow the entire family when you set sail with Royal Caribbean!
Top Deck Thrills
The pool deck has been reimagined, with Splashaway Bay kids aquapark, a poolside bar called The Lime & Coconut equipped with hammocks, in-pool loungers, and live music. Waterpark fans must check out The Perfect Storm, a trio of multi-story waterslides known as Typhoon, Cyclone, and Supercell. Also newly added is the tallest slide at sea - The 10-story Ultimate Abyss, guaranteed to elicit screams of joy from all who brave it.
Palate-pleasing Dining
New eateries include Portside BBQ – Royal Caribbean’s first barbecue restaurant, El Loco Fresh serving Mexican street fare such as made-to-order tacos, burritos, and quesadillas. Anyone with a sweet tooth will love Sugar Beach, with more than 220 types of candy and a new walk-up ice cream window. The entire family will enjoy Playmakers Sports Bar & Arcade, with 80 big-screen TVs, tabletop games, arcade classics, an Owner’s Box VIP area, bar fare, and drinks. And the Bionic Bar will be a popular spot, with a duo of robotic bartenders that mixes drinks perfectly every time.
Show-stopping Entertainment & Hot Spots
The new Aqua80 show will debut in the AquaTheater, with jaw-dropping high dives and acrobatics choreographed to iconic tunes from the 80s. Also new is live music venue Music Hall, with performances from cover bands and plenty of space for dancing. One Sky – A new, full-scale production will take center stage in the Royal Theater, with music and choreography that explores human connections.
Family Adventures Await
Updates include a new Adventure Ocean program for children and the new Social298 teen space with a new outdoor deck. Additional fun and games include the Glow-in-the-dark laser tag and the Royal Escape Room – Mission Control: Apollo 18, where players must solve their way to successfully launch Apollo 18.
The amplified Oasis of the Seas will sail from New York starting in May. Sailing from Cape Liberty just moments away from the iconic New York landmarks and attractions, she will be the largest ship to be homeported in the state. Oasis will offer cruises to the Bahamas, including a stop for the Perfect Day at CocoCay. On this private island, guests will have exclusive access to a thrilling waterpark, relaxing pools, and a helium balloon ride that rises 450 feet from the air. There are activities, thrills and spills for the entire family and plenty of beaches to chill, float, and swim. Coming soon will be the Coco Beach Club, with an infinity pool, private dining, and luxurious floating cabanas.
