Prince's Palace of Monaco —

Posted by Bobby Brown on January 25, 2020 - 6:04am

Prince's Palace of Monaco — Enjoy an exclusive private tour of the Prince's Palace of Monaco on this special excursion. You will walk the short distance through Old Town to the palace, which began as a military stronghold. Today it is a sumptuous residence said to have been influenced by Fontainebleau. Take a stroll through the impressive courtyard to the chapel dedicated to St. Dévota, the patron saint of Monaco. In the Gallery of Hercules, admire the decor of mythical figures. After passing through the Mirror Gallery, inspired by the Hall of Mirrors at Versailles, continue to the spectacular State Apartments: the Red Room, the York Room and the Yellow Room, modeled after Louis XV’s bedchamber. Several richly decorated reception rooms lead to the Throne Room, where state business is conducted still today. You will end your visit in the Great Dining Room.
