Redox imbalance vs healthy cell production

Posted by Bobby Brown on March 31, 2022 - 12:37pm

Everything in life is a balance, including what happens inside our bodies. Too much or too little of something sets events in motion to restore balance. The larger the redox imbalance is, the larger—and potentially harmful—its chain reaction may be. Our body uses redox balance to help our systems function properly. This is the reason we value redox signaling molecules so highly at ASEA. They enable our cells, systems, and body to stay healthy.

Redox imbalance vs healthy cell production

Redox balance is the foundation of keeping the body working normally and it all starts with healthy cell renewal. According to the National Library of Medicine, redox balance is how the body controls the regulation and production of reactive oxygen species (ROS) and knows when to eliminate them when they’re done. The body produces and accumulates ROS in our cells and tissues while also detoxifying itself of them when they’re old, broken, or damaged.

Maintaining the balance of reactive oxygen species (ROS) helps the proper functioning and the health of living cells inside the body. Both the generation and the elimination of ROS are equally important to maintaining this balance and our health.

Redox imbalance causes health issues

Abnormal generation of ROS causes oxidative stress. Redox imbalance leads to oxidative stress, which can cause irreversible cell damage. This dynamic balancing system may change due to many different factors, like diet, external stressors, or aging.

Oxidative stress is a harmful process that can negatively affect cellular structures and membranes. Oxidative stress occurs when there’s an imbalance between free radical activity and antioxidant activity. When functioning properly, free radicals can help fight off pathogens. Pathogens lead to infections. When there are more free radicals present in our system than can be kept in balance, they start doing damage to our DNA, fatty tissues, and proteins in our body and this leads to a vast number of diseases. Oxidative stress also contributes to aging.

Maintaining redox balance is easier than you think

Want to be sure that you’re in balance? Give yourself a head start! ASEA® Redox Cell Signaling Supplement is an oral supplement that is made from redox signaling molecules that are the same as those found in and around human cells. This scientifically tested solution signals the activation of genes that help improve immune system health, gut health, hormone balance, cardiovascular health, and help maintain a healthy inflammatory response. Try using redox signaling to target your body at the cellular level and help protect, rejuvenate, and restore cells for better health.
