Before her launch in February, Seven Seas Splendor has already been dubbed as the most luxurious cruise ship ever built. The fifth ship in Regent Seven Seas’ fleet will carry 750 guests who will be ensconced in exquisite style and comfort.
Living Large
It is nothing but the very best accommodations for Regent’s guests onboard Seven Seas Splendor. The all-suite, all-balcony ship will have ten suite categories, with Elite Slumber beds, marble baths with lavish bath products, interactive flat-screen televisions, plush bathrobes, and slippers. There are plenty of opportunities to live large, starting with the 301 square-foot Veranda Suite to the 900 square-foot one-bedroom Splendor Suite, to the 2,100 square-foot, two-bedroom Master Suite with a wraparound balcony. The pièce de résistance though, is the 4,443 square-foot, two-bedroom Regent Suite created with incomparable craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail, including an in-suite spa and sauna.
Perfected Culinary Experience
With nine dining venues onboard Seven Seas Splendor including 24-hour room service, dining will be an elevated journey throughout every cruise. Begin with the Compass Rose dining room, which has been transformed into the largest specialty restaurant on the ship. The menu not only includes daily features, but also a wide variety of meats, seafood, sides, and sauces to curate your very own special dinner every night. At casual La Veranda, enjoy hearty breakfast and lunch buffets with indoor and outdoor seating. If outdoor dining is your preference, there is the Pool Grill, serving grilled meats, seafood, and other delicacies for lunch and casual dinner, along with tasty milkshakes and ice cream creations. The Coffee Connection has also expanded to include outdoor seating for sipping barista-made coffees and teas while gazing at the shimmering sea.
Specialty dining is where Seven Sea Splendor shines, with Chartreuse offering fine French cuisine in a gorgeous setting. Discover Pan-Asian cuisine in Pacific Rim, with a balance of sweet and spicy flavors in a Zen-like ambiance. For fine cuts of steaks and seafood, there is no better choice than Prime 7, with New York strip, porterhouse, filet mignon cooked to the way you like, and succulent scallops, lobster, and salmon all prepared à la minute. Finally, drop into Sette Mari at La Veranda, serving authentic Italian dishes inspired by recipes that span generations. The best news? All specialty dining is included onboard Seven Seas Splendor, so feel free to try them all.
Elegant Social Spaces
In addition to a $5 million curated fine art collection on permanent display throughout the ship, Seven Seas Splendor will offer fine social spaces to relax, gather with friends, and take in the entertainment. Choose from the elegant Meridian Lounge with sleek furnishings and a sophisticated ambiance, a perfect place to enjoy cocktails, and watch the resident musicians perform. Enjoy pre-dinner drinks and music at the Splendor Lounge, or take in the spectacular views from the Observation Lounge, with an English garden vibe. Feeling lucky? Try a hand of poker or blackjack in the Casino, a happening place for both players and spectators. Or, opt for a cognac, cigar, and great conversations in the Connoisseur Club.
Headline entertainment will take place in the two-level Constellation Theatre, with five new shows set to debut, spanning a variety of musical genres. Bohemian Soul is set in Paris, exploring an eclectic array of world-music, and dance styles. In Diamond Run, we follow an International Man of Mystery in pursuit of a priceless jewel through songs by popular artists such as Madonna, Duran Duran, and Shirley Bassey. Rock and country fans will enjoy Crossroads, a musical battle with classic hits from both genres. But let’s not forget about Disco! Catch Boogie Wonderland, based on a disco party, and fashion contest set in a New York nightclub. And finally, Divos and Divas promises to bring down the house with fine vocalists performing a classic hit list from the last seven decades, accompanied by the Regent Signature Orchestra.
Fresh Discoveries Abroad
Seven Seas Splendor will spend her inaugural season in Northern Europe and the Mediterranean, with new adventures, and fresh discoveries. In addition to a complement of included shore excursions, there will be 65 new tours being introduced in nine countries. Imagine ziplining in Croatia, visiting the Christian Dior museum in France, mussel tasting in Montenegro, or Scottish cooking class in Glasgow! These new excursions will offer Regent guests more excitement, enrichment, and deeper learning than ever before.
