Sleeping Habits

Posted by Bobby Brown on October 04, 2020 - 5:07pm

According to the Centers for Disease Control Prevention (CDC) 1 in 3 people over the age of 18 don’t get enough sleep on a regular basis.

Adults between the ages of 18-60 are supposed to get at least 7 hours of sleep a night and most of them don’t fulfill this.

According to Wayne Giles, M.D., director of the CDC’s Division of Population Health, “we as a nation are not getting enough sleep. Lifestyle changes such as going to bed at the same time each night; rising at the same time each morning; and turning off or removing televisions, computers, mobile devices from the bedroom, can help people get the healthy sleep they need.”

But if you think that sleeping problems plague only regular people, you are very wrong. Celebrities, artists, scientist and political leaders also need to sleep, but not all of them can do that. Sometimes it is because of stress, at others due to overly busy schedule, yet some famous people, for all their talents and capabilities, don’t value sleep highly enough.

There are a few things you can do to routinely practice healthy sleeping habit:

  • Stick to a consistent sleep schedule: going to bed and waking up around the same time.
  • Establish a bedtime that allows for at least 7 hours of sleep.
  • Put away any electronic devices at least 30 minutes before your bedtime.
  • Establish a bedtime routine that relaxes you.

All the same, these are general tips for healthy people with normal lifestyle. To find out more about some truly strange ways to deal with insomnia, snoring, productivity and creativity, check out the collection of mesmerizing facts below.
