Thailand cruises make the most of this very colorful coast!

Posted by Bobby Brown on January 13, 2020 - 2:35pm

From streets that pulse with energy to ancient temples that sing with peace, a trip to Thailand is sensory overload. Stroll friendly flower markets, imbibe in sacred sites, bronze on beautiful beaches and simply let your hair down, because in Thailand the world is your oyster. Equal part magic, mystique and madness, our Thailand cruises make the most of this very colourful coast!

PANORAMIC PHUKET - Phuket

Explore the splendid natural beauty, landmarks and history of Phuket during a sightseeing tour of this colourful island. Learn about the island and its colourful history as you pass by lush vegetation, villages, century-old Sino-Portuguese mansions, Provincial Hall, the local fresh market, the Tin Dregder monument, and the Chinese Shrine. They’ll be plenty of time for browsing for souvenirs at a local handicraft centre at the Chalong Temple before you head home.

RIVER CRUISE & FLOWER MARKET - Bangkok

Explore the scenic beauty and traditions of Bangkok from its waterways. Begin with a stroll among the flower market before embarking for a panoramic cruise along the Chao Phraya River, and through some of its more peaceful canals. Here, observe the spectacular Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn) as well as the traditional lifestyles of the local people living and working along the water. Then it’s into Bangkok for some shopping and free time before going back to the ship.

PHANG NGA BAY & RANG YAI ISLAND BY SPEEDBOAT - Phuket

No trip to Phuket would be complete without a trip to James Bond Island! Enjoy a speedboat ride to the iconic island, set in the Phang Nga Bay National Park. Over 40 islands of towering karst create the unique and breath-taking scenery. Sheer cliffs, overhangs and caves typify the topography, and have melted the hearts of millions. After a photo stop at 007’s island, carry on past a mangrove swamp and grotto cave before riding south of the park, and the wonderful Panyi Village.

AYUTTHAYA - A WORLD HERITAGE SITE - Bangkok

One of Thailand's most majestic UNESCO World Heritage Sites, Ayutthaya is considered one of Thailand's major attractions. En route to the ruined city, enjoy a visit to the Bang Pa-In Summer Palace. The palace comprises a collection of buildings of various ages and various architectural styles and its richly decorated turn-of-the-century European aristocratic style, interspersed with whimsical Thai touches. Continue to Ayutthaya, once the ancient capital of Siam that was said in its heyday to be more beautiful than either London or Paris.
