The cycle of self-limiting beliefs

Posted by Bobby Brown on February 27, 2024 - 4:59pm

The cycle of self-limiting beliefs typically starts with an event or experience that causes you to develop a negative belief about yourself.

For example, if you fail at something, you may start to believe that you’re not capable or that you’re not good enough.

Over time, this negative belief becomes deeply ingrained in your subconscious mind, and you start to see evidence of it everywhere you look.

The problem with these beliefs is that they become self-fulfilling prophecies.

Once you believe that you’re not capable or that you’re not good enough, you start to act in ways that reinforce those beliefs.

If you believe that you’re not capable, you may avoid trying new things or taking risks.

If you believe that you’re not good enough, you may hold yourself back from pursuing your dreams or putting yourself out there.
