Why is healthcare so freaking expensive in the United States?

Healthcare in the United States is expensive and many people are struggling to afford the care they need. There are many factors that contribute to the high cost of healthcare in the United States. One major factor is the high cost of drugs and medical procedures. Pharmaceutical companies are able to charge high prices for their drugs in the United States due to a lack of price regulations. Additionally, medical procedures and tests in the United States are often more expensive than in other countries. Another major contributor to the high cost of healthcare in the United States is the high administrative costs associated with the healthcare system. The complexity and fragmentation of the system results in high costs for billing and insurance related activities. The high cost of health insurance is also a significant factor in the high cost of health care in the United States. Many people are unable to afford the HY premiums and deductibles associated with private health insurance plans and are left uninsured or underinsured. While the high cost of healthcare in the United States is a complex issue, it's clear that something needs to change in order for people to be able to afford the care they need.  It all starts with Impact Health Sharing
