Tallest hotel in Greece is up for sale

The tallest hotel in Greece, President Hotel Athens, is for sale at a reported asking price of €110 million.

An impressive example of cubist architecture, the landmark building is strategically situated near two Metro stations and offers great access to renowned cultural landmarks, commercial streets, historic sites and entertainment attractions.

According to sources, the hotel’s main shareholder, the Kefala family, has been seeking the sale of the four-star hotel for the last two years.

President Hotel Athens located on Kifissias Avenue, is 68 meters high, has 22 floors, consists of 517 rooms & 918 beds and has 197 parking spaces.

On the 21st floor at the Pool Bar, visitors can enjoy cold drinks, buffet, live Greek and international music along with a perfect view of Athens.

According to data, due to the covid-19 pandemic, hotel occupancy from January 2020-August 2020 was 34%, compared to 70% in 2019.

The landmark edifice built by the famous Greek architect Ioannis Vikelas, has its own history to share with travellers, making it the ideal place to start your stay experience in the city.
