Unopoly, Inc. was founded to bring greater awareness to the dangers of Shaken Baby Syndrome. Shaken Baby Syndrome occurs when a baby or small child is shaken, mostly in anger but sometimes in playfulness, and the child is seriously injured. This happens because a baby’s or small child’s neck and spine cannot handle the sharp jolt. An injured child can become a vegetable if they even survive. Many children die. My eldest daughter Kimberli is a survivor. She has seizures regularly; she has cerebral palsy, partial blindness, and partial paralysis on her left side. She is now 37 years old.

I care for my daughter 24/7. She is delicate and sensitive. She is the light of my life. Kimberli is an active part of this business. She is my inspiration and my reason for going forward with this, even though uncertainty and difficulty. We hope that everyone who decides to associate with us and participate in our program feels our sincerity and faith in the power of God to take care of us, no matter what is going on. We have to have faith that we are receiving no more than we can bear. Kimberli and I are living testimonies to the awesome power of God first to save us, in many ways, and then to provide for us in our extremity. We’re still here, even through all of the hardships we have experienced. We want to receive in order to share. We want to help other special needs children and young adults have greater opportunities and better lives. Through our work with Unopoly, Inc. we will be able to meet our goal of helping others and having fun in the process. No, life is not fair, but we will do all that we can to work with what we have and move forward from there. God bless you for reading!
