On the way to the village of Pirin.

We rarely talked, the curves are pretty, the unique views too, but - that was not the reason.
It was as if we were waiting for a miracle to happen!
Wasn't that what the whole trip was about!?!
Because of grandma Petra from Pirin village, because of her song !
Life is a strange thing!
You make plans, you even relive them in your mind...
Traveling to this forgotten village, it seemed that we forgot about everything else, and only the anticipation of this meeting was in our heads!
I got carried away...
Here is the sign!
Colorful, Proud, Bulgarian!!!

And then?!?
As I was looking at the pictures, the first thing that came to my mind was to turn them black and white! They would have been much more dramatic, they would have impacted you even more!

But, then I looked at them again!
And I saw the colors!
I hope you see them too!!!
We met some people on the way and asked about Grandma Petra. The dear one was not well and her relatives took her to Sofia. Let's hope she gets better quickly !

I was in pain , and I don't even know her !
But as I mentioned earlier- One should not make plans !
Life should be lived here and now !
The story of the village I will not tell you... other things "caught me by the throat"
...grandmother Nedelka welcomed us to this God-forsaken place!

More Alive and Colorful than most People I know !
I saw her pushing something off the roof with a long stick and I approached her I asked how she was!
And the Magic happened!
I got such a smile...I will never forget her !
Then Grandma Stoyana came, saw us and decided to knock the strainer, and hopefully she would find out who we were, where we were from, and invite us to their home - for warmth.
Amazing women!!!

Then we laughed, we cried, we sang out loud and out of our minds!
We heard Fairy Tale things, Legends of Dragons, lyrics to sad songs, we warmed our Souls!
Imperceptibly passed maybe an hour or two?! I don't know! I was lost in time!
All I remember is that both have lived alone for a long time, in winter they rarely see each other , but they don't complain!
Look where they live!
"Desolate youth, mamma, desolate youth.
Wasted youth, dear mamma, not enough.
It's not getting there, dear Mama, it's not getting there. (chuckles)
Youth is flowing, Mommy, youth is flowing.
Youth flows, dear Mama, like water
Old age flows, mamma, old age flows.
Old age is flowing, dear Mommy, like sencha."
Greetings from the village of Pirin!
