33 Then Pilate entered the Praetorium again, called Jesus, 
and said to Him, “Are You the King of the Jews?”
34 Jesus answered him, “Are you speaking for yourself about this,
or did others tell you this concerning Me?”
35 Pilate answered, “Am I a Jew? Your own nation and the chief priests
have delivered You to me. What have You done?”
36 Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world.
If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight,
so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; 
but now My kingdom is not from here.”
37 Pilate therefore said to Him, “Are You a king then?”
Jesus answered, “You say rightly that I am a king. 
For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, 
that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.”
38 Pilate said to Him, “What is truth?” And when he had said this,
he went out again to the Jews, and said to them, “I find no fault in Him at all.

The Way, the Truth, and the Life
1 “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 
2 In My Father’s house are many mansions;[a] if it were not so,
I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and
receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. 
4 And where I go you know, and the way you know.”
5 Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, 
and how can we know the way?”
6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. 
No one comes to the Father except through Me.

John 15:15-17 Amplified Bible (AMP)

14 You are my friends if you keep on doing what I command 
15 I do not call you servants any longer, for the servant does not know
what his master is doing; but I have called you [My] friends,
because I have revealed to you everything that I have heard from My Father. 
16 You have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you and I have appointed 
and placed and purposefully planted you, so that you would go and bear fruit 
and keep on bearing, and that your fruit will remain and be lasting,
so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name [as My representative]
He may give to you. 
17 This [is what] I command you: that you love and unselfishly seek the
best for one another.
