December has been one of the biggest months to date for BlockFi. We finished the year out by launching BlockFi Trading, receiving our Money Transmitter License (MTL) in Kansas and Washington, recording our first episode of BlockFi Live, and presenting at the Latin American Bitcoin & Blockchain Conference in Uruguay.

BlockFi clients will be receiving their BlockFi Interest Account (BIA) interest payment on the first business day of January (1/2/20). As a reminder, if you are planning on withdrawing funds from your BIA, withdrawals are not immediate and will take 1-2 business days for security purposes. Please note that our response time over the New Year holiday may be slower than usual.

BlockFi Trading

With the launch of BlockFi Trading, you can now access no-fee trading between crypto pairs while simultaneously earning monthly compound interest. This allows you to easily rebalance your portfolio and more actively trade your crypto without giving up the industry-leading interest rates BlockFi offers.

Kansas and Washington State MTL

BlockFi is proud to announce that we received our Money Transmitter License (MTL) in Kansas and Washington State, making us the first and only crypto finance platform to receive an MTL in Washington. As a result, BlockFi Interest Accounts and Trading are now available to residents of both states.
