I have been following a conversation on Skype recently about using the word free when advertising a business. now everyone likes a bargain, you only need to walk through a shopping mall or down the high street to see offers containing the word free. The truth is nothing is for free, there is always a catch. Often you have to give something, like your address, email or phone number to obtain your free sample or product. You can be sure that whatever you provide will be used in the future and will result in you spending more money than you planned.
The truth is nothing is really for free and building a business costs time money and effort. If you are serious about creating extra income, you need all these three elements to be present to become successful.
I support the argument that it is better to avoid using free when marketing a business because it attracts freeloaders and tyre kickers, who will never put money where their mouth is and will fail.
