Tesco cardI have just moved to the UK and have started to look at some of the Lyoness merchants and the rewards they offer. Food is one of life's essentials, so I am pleased that two major chains offer rewards and cashback, namely Morrisons and Tesco. Wow how things have changes in the 15 years I have been overseas, some stores are huge and there are retail parks wherever you look. Its retail heaven.

Whenever possible I take advantage of the cashback and rewards on offer, but for some of the larger retailers you need to do some planning by purchasing vouchers in advance. Tesco is one of these retailers, so you log onto your Lyoness shopping portal and select find shops, select groceries then Tesco. Choose the voucher value, then checkout. You then transfer money from your bank and a couple of days later you will receive you Tesco card by courier.

The Tesco card(s) can be presented at check out as part or full payment of your shopping bill and any value remaining on the card can redeemed on your next visit.

The one thing I like about the Lyoness system is not only do you benefit from cashback and rewards when you purchase the vouchers but if you have a Tesco loyalty card you also still collect points, so its a double whammy.
