One of the first pieces of software you will need to start your marketing campaign is a program that will help you keep track of your contacts. This program keeps track of when the contact subscribed, where the contact came from and all the contact information you need to communicate with them.
The software is usually called, customer relationship management (CRM) and is a system for managing a company’s interactions with current and future contacts. It often involves using technology to organize, automate and synchronize sales, marketing, customer service, and technical support.
A search on the Internet will reveal that this kind of software will run anywhere from $25.00 to $500.00 or more per month depending on the number of users and the number of contacts you are going to keep track of. Then after you get the software you will have to come up with someway for you to interface these contacts with the offers or merchandise you are trying to deliver. An example would be an Auto-responder system to communicate with all these contacts that you have enrolled.
At this point you may wonder why go on from here because every time you reach a plateau you find that you need to spend some more money to purchase the next piece of software.
But, there is light at the end of the tunnel. There is a solution. As the light gets brighter you hear the buzz. The buzz centers around the Hive, a platform that will solve the problem is about to be released on January 15, 2015. So keep watch and get on the bandwagon, the surfboard, the dirtbike or whatever your gig is. Those that get in first will be on top of the wave, the mountain or whatever.
