DID YOU KNOW that people with the most stress have the highest risk of premature death, according to one years-long study published in the journal Experimental Gerontology?
“People who always perceived their daily life to be over-the-top stressful were three times more likely to die over the period of study than people who rolled with the punches and didn’t find daily life very stressful,” according to Carolyn Aldwin Ph.D., who led the study and directs the Center of Healthy Aging Research at Oregon State University.
When chronically elevated, the primary stress hormone released by the adrenals, cortisol, is known to interfere with learning and memory; to lower immune function and bone density; increase weight gain, blood pressure, and cholesterol; increase the risk of heart disease, depression, mental illness and more.
Known ways to lower cortisol levels include:Regular physical activity
Yoga
Breathing slowly from the abdomen
Getting enough good sleep
Social connectivity and close human bonds
Laughter and having fun
Music and dancing
Meditation, affirmations, and prayer
Art creation and other creativity
Controlling your blood sugar with diet
How can ASEA help?
DID YOU KNOW that ASEA Cell Signaling Supplement has been proven to increase the positive genetic signaling that controls healthy hormonal modulation? Cortisol is “the stress hormone”, insulin is “the blood sugar hormone”, melatonin is “the sleep hormone”, and many other hormones influence mood and so many other parts of our life and health. Improved regulation of these genetic pathways and achieving greater hormonal balance will help control our stress levels, improve health, and can increase longevity.
