WHAT IS ANXIETY?

????WHAT IS ANXIETY?
Anxiety is a sense of fear that is out of portion to the circumstances the person is witnessing or experiencing. People experiencing anxiety feel a sense of worry or trepidation, and have physical symptoms that include sweating, trouble breathing, rapid heart rate, feeling of panic, elevated BP and difficulty sleeping.
Anxiety problem is linked to a lot of mood disorders including depression, obsessive compulsive disorder, and bi-polar disease.
???????????CAUSES
Anxiety occurs because of imbalance from the brain chemicals that are used to think with. There are two inhibitory neurotransmitters – Serotonin and GABA – that help us to feel calm and centred.
Created in nerve cells these neurotransmitters are then used in synapses (The gaps between the two nerve cells) to make connection to our brain. They are produced, used and recycled over and over all the time day and night. If the levels inside the synapse between the two nerve cells are low, they are unable to make the connection to keep us calm, resulting in feelings of anxiety.
????REDOX ???? SUPPORT
Over the last 20 years, a number of studies have shown a link between anxiety and oxidative stress. Affected cells have too many oxidant or reactive oxygen species Redox Molecules and not enough reduced species. They are out of balance and as a result of the oxidative stress, cells can’t “think” and act correctly. They might be sending too many or two few neurotransmitter signals, or not sending any electrical messages at all. This means the brain gets confused and inappropriate messages.
Antioxidants have a way of gobbling up and taking care of oxidants in a cell, along with real radicals and toxins.
Supplementing the body with a balanced source of Redox Molecules gives it additional resources to generate antioxidants and bring the Redox biochemistry back into balance. Using redox support in this way reduces oxidative stress in the cells, which improve signalling across the synapses in Bristol is the bodies balance of serotonin and GABA.
