You might be familiar with the proverb, “children and fools tell the truth.” But the truth that comes from this little girl’s mouth isn’t something a fool would say; instead, it feels like a dagger to the heart when you hear it.
There should be no mystery as to who the “Jack” in the story is. This video has such an important message, one that needs to be heard and remembered — both children and adults can be victims of violent abuse. Alcohol can make people so incredibly aggressive and unpredictable. The words of this eight-year-old girl should not be ignored, however hard they may be to hear.
