Coin Bureau - The Epstein Files Just Exposed Bitcoin's Darkest Secret

"Recently, more than three million pages of the Epstein files were released to the public. While many revelations were grim and unsurprising, one detail caught almost everyone off guard: Bitcoin.

Needless to say, that connection has caused chaos across the crypto community. X and Reddit have since been flooded with viral posts - some grounded in facts, others… not so much. Questions range from whether Epstein had contact with Bitcoin’s creators, whether he influenced Bitcoin’s early development,  to whether Epstein himself could have been Satoshi Nakamoto all along.

So today, we’re taking you deep into the rabbit hole. We’ll be exploring the Epstein files to see what they say about Bitcoin, separating the facts and the fiction, and telling you what this really matters for Bitcoin’s future.
This is a video you do not want to miss."

The 2026 release of over three million pages from the Jeffrey Epstein files revealed several links between the financier and the early cryptocurrency industry, sparking significant discussion within the crypto community. The documents show that Epstein was aware of Bitcoin as early as 2011 and indirectly funded the salaries of some Bitcoin Core developers through donations to the MIT Media Lab. While the files mention Epstein's personal investments in companies like Coinbase and Blockstream, as well as his interests in privacy coins and potential digital currencies for the Middle East, there is no evidence that he exerted any control over Bitcoin's technical development or governance. Furthermore, despite rumors circulating on social media, the files do not support the theory that Epstein was Satoshi Nakamoto or that crypto was used to finance his criminal activities. Ultimately, the video suggests that while the associations are unflattering for crypto's public image, the decentralized nature of Bitcoin remains uncompromised, and the impact on long-term institutional perception is expected to be minimal.
