Though it certainly doesn't feel this way, Oscar Wilde says, 'What seems to us as bitter trials are often blessings in disguise.'

Many people just give up during the 'bitter trials' believing it to be a lost cause.  Oftentimes, if you batten down the hatches and ride out the storm, you just might see the blessing on the other side.

You must have the patience, the faith, and the persistence to battle your way through the fog--and there it'll be--your hard-won blessing (and the added bonus of knowing you are That Much Stronger).
