New Zealand to Vote on Cannibis Legalisation in General Election

Posted by johnnorman on October 08, 2020 - 10:42am

Next week New Zeland will go to the poles in a general election plus ywo referrendums. One of the referendums is to decide whether to decrimalise Cannibis smoking.

Below is the opinion of a person who has been a regular user. He has called his opinion piece:

Kill Cannabis black markets

"I smoke cannabis daily and acquire solely though the black market

I’ve had patched up members of the mob jump in my car and drive me around (scarey), I’ve had some bad experiences inside the dealers houses too, and I can say from first hand experience that a NO vote will do nothing but endanger the well-being of your kids.

How? Well, the black markets operate on apps. There’s a couple different groups out there but in my town, there’s about 4 “market places”...3 out of the 4 now also advertise MDMA and P...and one of the sites seems to have pivoted to MDMA predominantly...and that NZ is how Cannabis becomes a “gateway drug”....because of the dealers. Not because of the properties of Cannabis, but because of the sellers agenda.

Side note: I’m also really surprised by the dealers kids always being around too. I’ve been to several houses and the dudes kids are always hanging around in the lounge, it’s gross and uncomfortable, not only for me, but also for the poor kids.

Say no to legalization. Leave this problem unsolved and let’s if we can get the P addiction numbers up?

Charles Phillips The time is right for people to listen to those who know what they are talking about, instead of those others who only side with what they heard somewhere. It's time.

Bill Rippel Yes, I think it's a good thing. They legalized it here in Canada a few years back and seems to be working well.
