With Covid19 having such an impact on the world (for those that actually believe and don't call it a hoax) the new word on the world-wide block is Social Distancing and Bubble.
Of course, the standard soap bubble would have had to come a long way in order to meet the needs of social distancing and in truth was never going to cut it.
Hence the creation of your virtual synthetic bubble.
Originally, we were only concerned with level one Covid19 bubbles so the specifications were very loose and there was a lack of standardisation in the specifications and manufacturing. These bubbles didn’t last very long and did not have some of the more desirable features such automatic family merge or self-cleaning.
Consequently, they did not last very long and were known to burst at the most inopportune time, as a number of Politicians have found out. They scratched easily and tended to cloud your perception of just what was happening in the world around you.
Things got far more difficult when countries went into full lockdown. With so many people at home finding space to park all those bubbles became a problem. Science answered the call for a tougher version of bubble that also had such special essential features ICM (instant collapse or minimisation) (depending up the settings) and very friendly FFV (Full Family Version) with auto merger of other family member bubbles (however they had all be the same version, i.e. Level 3 or 4).
With New Zealand being so far away from the rest world and heavy restriction on imports we have had to reply on our tradition “Number 8” wire approach and develop these things for ourselves.
They have worked well but with the coming change down to Covid19 Level 3 next Tuesday and a possible down to Covid19 level 2 in two weeks after that, there is going to be a glut on the second-hand market.
Oh well we could just save then for the next general election later in the year and make them standard issue for all political candidates out there on the hustings.
They are bound to burst a few.
In the meantime, stay safe.
