A great article marketing tip is to make sure your articles aren't too long. Articles that are too long will drive readers away because they won't want to read through an essay. Try to aim for five hundred to seven hundred words when you are writing your articles.

As your article marketing resources expand, make sure that your articles are extensively cross-referenced to each other. Do not make links between articles just for the sake of linking, but try to take advantage of every reasonable possibility where one article would support another. A well cross-referenced web of article links will boost your readership significantly.

Relevancy is everything when it comes to article marketing. Your articles should match the topic, industry or theme of your website, especially if these articles are being submitted to databases outside of your main site. This is an essential step in building your website as a recognizable name in your field, and helps build your links.

A great article marketing tip is to make sure your articles aren't too long. When you have lots of unique articles, people will be more inclined to read what you have to say and if they find that information on an article directory, they will go to your webpage.

Do as much research as you can in regards to article marketing. Take some notes from these resources and then fit them in or around your marketing plan.

It no secret that getting as much content on the web as possible, is the most important key to article marketing. The second most important key, is getting people to read those articles and getting those people to see you as an expert.

When you have lots of unique articles, people will be more inclined to read what you have to say and if they find that information on an article directory, they will go to your webpage. Making money online leaves little room for mistakes and it is important to write your articles and market them just. Having unique content is a wonderful way to jump start your progress into internet success.

Keep researching on a consistent basis to find what keywords are still of good use to you. If one of your keywords is no longer popular, but a different relevant one is trending, switch them out!

Include two different links in your resource box when you syndicate an article - one will point to the front page of your website, while the other will point directly to the original article on your site. This will drive a variety of readers back to your website and increase your traffic.

Beginners in the arena of article marketing will want to avoid the tendency to build their back-linking networks too fast. Search engines, and Google in particular, have fine-tuned their algorithms to identify sites with highly inflated link activity from month to month.

Cheryl Majeski Hi Louis! Lots of good info here -- particularly your note about researching keywords periodically to keep your SEO current. I do my research up front before I write so I can incorporate keywords throughout. You never know who's eye you'll catch when you optimize!
