my friend, Lothar, was baffled when he received a call from the director of his bank, an old friend of his, who asked him to stop by. He wanted to show him something only good customers of the bank would see.
He felt honored and rushed to the bank.
After a friendly handshake, the director told my friend that the bank has a business now with a company called Cryptex that is making good money for the bank with the Staking of cryptocurrencies.
And because my friend, Lothar, is a valid customer, the bank wants him to participate in this endeavor making good money with Staking.
Therefore, the bank would give him $43,200 for a timespan of five years. This amount would be placed for him for the coming five years in a special account at Cryptex where the ongoing Staking will earn him during this time between $150,000 and $250,000.
After five years, the bank will get back the $43,200, and Lothar will receive the remaining money between approximately $100,000 and $200,000.
Now, Lothar was thinking, what is the catch?

"That's bullshit!" was Lothar's outburst, and he got up to leave. Five years to wait, but paying $100 now was too much for his understanding.
