Magical Storytelling via Blogs

Writing blog posts is something I first tried 3 years ago, rather haphazardly really.
I set up a Blogger blog and actually just messed about with it,
not really appreciating the power of a good blog.

I then set up another blog myself using WordPress.
That disappeared a few months later, along with all the work I had done on it,
because of a virus or hacker, not sure which. I hadn’t kept a backup either.

A few months later, I decided to set up another one as I had just joined
an mlm hosting business and blog hosting came free with the business.
Again, I spent many hours writing and setting my wordpress blog up again,
adding widgets and plugins, but still not doing any video storytelling.

After 18 months, the hosting business crashed – the owner told us
he didn’t know what happened! Oops, another heap of my work down the drain.
Now, this can happen with any business, on or off line. In Europe,
only 5% of businesses are still around after 5 years, and even less after 10.

When I joined Empower Network, I really had little knowledge of how it worked.
I had joined as a payback to an online friend who had joined another business
I was promoting then.

But what I did realise was the ease of using the one Markethive product,
the blog platform. What a dream! All set up like a blank easel,
ready for my writings and video storytelling.

And you know, I am still learning more about blogging many months later.
I am starting to include lots more of my own personal story, starting to be more open.
Funny how we love reading other people’s stories but always think ours is not interesting.

Lately I have been doing much more video storytelling,
a really scary thing to do at first.
But again,  the comments I am getting are all positive.
We love watching people telling stories,
especially if we can really relate to them.

James Eckburg I like your post and you give a good explanation on how you have used the new system in Market Hive. I look forward to see some of your video blogs.
