Markethive is a social structure made up of a set of social people, us, as individuals and organizations.

In Markethive you generate your personal profile from answers to questions, such as age, location, interests, etc. you may upload pictures, add multimedia content or modify the look and feel of the profile. Others allow users to enhance their profile by adding modules or "Applications." In Markethive adding “applications” is not needed, all of the tools necessary are provided.

Members may post blog entries, search for others with similar interests and compile and share lists of contacts. Your Markethive profile has a section dedicated to comments from friends and other users.

Storylines

A few thousand years ago there were marketplaces where traders returned from far seas with spices, silks, and precious, magical stones. Caravans arrived across burning deserts bringing dates and figs, snakes, parrots, monkeys, strange music, and stranger tales.

The marketplace was the heart of the society, the kernel, the hub, the agora. Like past and future, it stood at the crossroads. People woke early and went there to meet, have coffee, tell stories and purchase the day's goods. They went there to look and listen and to marvel, to buy and be amused. But mostly they went to meet each other.

The results of the many years of centralized talking, conversing, socializing, associating and communing led to an organic social manifestation, the agora, the marketplace, the Markethive. This manifestation is “order out of chaos”, a spontaneous order. Spontaneous order is what happens when you leave people alone—“when entrepreneurs... see the desires of people... and then provide for them.”

Entrepreneurs, as your storyline grows, you will grow in Marketplace. As you type yourself into being, you will tell the Hive through conversation, and through that conversation you will tell your story. The Hive will become aware of your story and the Hive will respond.
