Berlin - The number of confirmed corona infections in Germany is increasing more slowly. According to a query by the dts news agency at the state ministries, cities and counties, 33,469 people in Germany tested positive for the corona virus by Tuesday evening. That was only around eleven percent more than the previous day, but many municipalities are still unable to keep up with testing. At least 157 people died from the infection in Germany.

The situation is very different in the USA: 51,542 infections and 674 deaths were reported here on Tuesday evening in Germany, and the rate of growth continues to be exponential.

Italy reported 743 new deaths within 24 hours on Tuesday, with around 70,000 infections, the country is probably only a maximum of two days away from overtaking China's official infection rate, which is 81,591.
